In August 2018, a class-action lawsuit
was filed against Lamb Weston Holdings for allegedly misleadingly using slack-fill
ed packaging for Alexia Sweet Potato fries. Specifically, the complaint alleges that fries come in opaque containers with more than 50% empty space. (Kennard et al v. Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc.
