AppleCare Warranty

In November 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Apple for allegedly deceptively advertising the AppleCare extended warranty purchased with Apple products by failing to adequately disclose details about the warranty, including that the warranty may begin to run before someone receives the product (which shortens the length of the extended warranty). The lawsuit was transferred to federal court in December 2016. (Kalcheim et al v. Apple Inc. and Does 1-100, Case No. 16-cv-9324, C. D. CA.)
