Apple’s iCloud Storage

In August 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Apple for allegedly misleadingly representing that it would provide consumers who paid monthly subscriptions fees with iCloud storage when, according to plaintiffs, consumers’ data was stored on cloud servers owned by other entities instead of ones owned by Apple. (Williams et al v. Apple, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-4700, N. D. CA.)
