January 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against AZEK Building Products, Inc. for allegedly falsely marketing its products. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that AZEK Decking products will not blister, peel, flake, crack, split, or rot for 20 years when, in reality, they crack, split, and discolor shortly after installation. (Marino et al v. AZEK Building Products, Inc., and CPG International, Inc., Case No. 14-cv-10018, D. Mass.).
