Banana Boat Natural Reflect Sunscreens

May 2018: The parties reached a settlement agreement – the terms of which have not been disclosed – and anticipate dismissing the case.

January 2018:class-action lawsuit was filed against Edgewell Personal Care for allegedly deceptively marketing Banana Boat Natural Reflect sunscreens as being “Natural” and “100% naturally sourced sunscreens” when, according to plaintiffs, the sunscreens contain synthetic and artificial ingredients. (Hernandez et al v. Edgewell Personal Care, LLC et al, Case No. 18-cv-128, C. D. CA.)
