belVita Breakfast Products

In November 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Mondelez International for allegedly deceptively marketing belVita breakfast products as nutritious when, according to the complaint, the breakfast products contain high levels of added sugar and increase the risk of chronic diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. (McMorrow et al v. Mondelez International, Inc., Case No. 17-cv-2327, S. D. CA.)
