January 2020: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Bed Bath & Beyond for allegedly failing to adequately disclose the terms of its BEYOND+ subscriptions resulting in consumers being charged without their consent. (Turnier et al v. Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., Case No. 37-2020-00002499, California State Court – San Diego)
