Bluegreen Vacations

A class-action lawsuit was filed against Bluegreen Vacations for allegedly misleadingly marketing and selling “timeshare points” that it claims can be used to stay at vacation properties when, according to the complaint, the company is actually selling interests in real property. Plaintiffs also claim that the company does not disclose other important information about the sale, including the location of the property and the actual seller. (Landon et al v. Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc. and Bluegreen Vacation Corp., Case No. 18-cv-994, E. D. WI.)
