Bottled “Spring Water” from Niagara Bottling and Others

In January 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Niagara Bottling, Ice River Springs Water Co., Crossroads Beverage Group, and Pine Valley Farms Springs for allegedly misleadingly marketing bottled water as being “spring water” (i.e., water that occurs naturally and is sourced from a natural spring) when, according to plaintiffs, it is actually well water. (Frompovicz et al v. Niagara Bottling, LLC et al, Case No. 18-cv-54, E.D. Penn.)
