Bottles of Liquid Cosmetics from L’Oréal

In February 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against L’Oréal USA, Inc. for allegedly misleading consumers by stating the amount of product in liquid cosmetics bottles– including L’Oréal’s Visible Lift Serum Absolute, Age Perfect Eye Renewal Eye Cream, Revitalift Bright Reveal Brightening Day Moisturizer and Maybelline’s Superstay Better Skin Skin-Transforming Foundation – without disclosing that the bottles have defective pumps that fail to dispense significant amounts, and sometimes more than half, of the product. (Young et al v. L’Oréal USA, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-944, N.D. Cal.)
