Boxes of Hot Tamales

In June 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Just Born for allegedly deceptively packaging Hot Tamales candies in slack-filled boxes that contain 55% empty space. The following day, the plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed this lawsuit for undisclosed reasons. (Francisco et al v. Just Born, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-5543, C. D. CA.)
