Breyers Delights Vanilla Bean Low Fat Ice Cream
In January 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Conopco for allegedly misleadingly marketing that the flavoring ingredient in Breyers Delights Vanilla Bean Low Fat Ice Cream is vanilla when, according to plaintiffs, the ice cream does not contain any vanilla beans and the flavor actually comes from unspecified “natural flavor.” Plaintiffs also claim that the company misleadingly adds black specks to the ice cream to make consumers believe the flavor comes from vanilla.
