Canned Octopus Products

January 2017: This action was dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

November 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against La Fe for allegedly falsely marketing canned octopus products – including Octopus in Garlic Sauce and Octopus in Olive Oil – as containing octopus when they actually contain jumbo squid. The lawsuit was transferred from state court to federal court in January 2017. (Saiz et al v.
