January 2020: This case was transferred to a court in Missouri where a related case, Moore v. Compass Group USA, Inc. (18-cv-1962, E.D. Mo.), is pending. (Case No. 20-cv-266, E.D. Mo.)

August 2019: The claims against Crane Merchandising Systems were voluntarily dismissed without prejudice.

June 2019: This case was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 19-cv-1523, N.D. Tex.)

May 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Crane Merchandising Systems and Canteen Vending Services for allegedly failing to disclose that consumers who use credit cards or debit cards to pay for items in vending machines are charged additional fees and, thus, pay more than the listed price.
