October 2019: A federal judge dismissed this case concluding that plaintiffs lacked standing and failed to adequately allege that the “no artificial preservatives” representation was false.

October 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Kraft Heinz Food Company for allegedly falsely advertising that Capri Sun beverages do not contain preservatives when, according to the plaintiffs, the drinks contain the preservative citric acid. (Tarzian et al v. Kraft Heinz Food Company, Case No. 18-cv-7148, N. D. IL.)
