CeraVe Eczema Products

May 2019: This action was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

January 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against L’Oreal and Bausch Health for allegedly falsely representing that CeraVe® eczema products – including Eczema Soothing Body Wash and Eczema Creamy Oil – are drugs that will treat and mitigate eczema and its symptoms when, according to plaintiffs, the products are not more effective than other less expensive products and do not meet the requirements for being sold as eczema drugs under California law. (Magill et al v. L’Oreal USA, Inc. and Bausch Health Companies Inc., Case No. 19-cv-450, N. D. CA.)
