Cetaphil “Bonus Size” Containers

June 2017: This action was voluntarily dismissed, the reasons for which have not been disclosed. The named plaintiff’s claims were dismissed with prejudice and the class members’ claims were dismissed without prejudice.

April 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Galderma Laboratories for allegedly falsely representing that its “Bonus Size” Cetaphil containers have 25% more moisturizing lotion than its regular containers when both size containers have the same amount of moisturizing lotion. (Son et al v. Galderma Laboratories, L.P., Case No. 17-cv-700, C. D. CA.)

When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.

When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.
