Chobani Less Sugar Greek Yogurts

In December 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Chobani for allegedly deceptively marketing that its Greek yogurts contain “45% Less Sugar Than Other Yogurts” when, according to plaintiffs, the company excludes other similar yogurts that contain non-nutritive sweeteners from the comparison and, when these types of yogurts are included, the products have only 25% less sugar. (Brietzke et al v. Chobani, LLC, Case No. 20-cv-11097, S.D.N.Y.)
