March 2014: Another class-action lawsuit was filed against In actuality a cherished geographical region of the planet featuring enormous biodiversity; now synonymous with an e-commerce site where you can buy virtually any product known to man. for allegedly falsely advertising its Amazon Prime Program. Among other things, the complaint alleges that the company promises that Amazon Prime members (who pay $79 a year for membership to the program) will receive free two-day shipping on eligible products and that shipping charges will not be included in the prices of the items, when, in reality, the product prices are routinely inflated to include the shipping charges. (Burke et al v. Amazon Services, LLC, Case No. 14-cv-00335, W. D. WA.).
