Allegations: False natural claims
In December 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Holdings and Pfizer for allegedly falsely advertising ChapStick products as natural when, according to plaintiffs, the products contain synthetic, artificial, and highly-processed ingredients. (Moore et al v. GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Holdings (US) LLC and Pfizer Inc., Case No. 20-cv-9077, N.D. Cal.)
