In October 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Forager Project for allegedly misleadingly marketing juices – including Greens & Apple and Greens & Avocado – as being made from “Cold-pressed Vegetables” when, according to the complaint, the juices are processed after being cold-pressed and the processing is not disclosed to consumers. (Berger et al v. Forager Project, LLC, Case No. 17-cv-6302, E. D. NY.)
