Nutro Limited Ingredient Dog Foods
Allegations: Misleadingly marketing that dog foods do not contain wheat, soy, or chicken when they contain significant amounts of the ingredients
In May 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Mars Petcare US, Inc. for allegedly falsely marketing that Nutro Limited Ingredient Diets dog foods – including Adult Lamb & Sweet Potato Recipe Grain Free Dog Food, Adult Salmon & Lentils Recipe Grain Free Dog Food, Adult Duck & Lentils Recipe Grain Free Dog Food, Adult Venison Meal & Sweet Potato Recipe Grain Free Dog Food, and others – do not contain wheat, soy, or chicken when, according to plaintiffs, the dog foods contain significant amounts of all three ingredients.
