Clif Kid ZBars

In April 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Clif Bar & Company for allegedly marketing Clif Kid ZBars – including the Original, Filled, Protein, and Fruit and Veggie varieties – as being healthy and nutritious when, according to plaintiffs, the bars contain an excessive amount of sugar, which causes diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. (Milan et al v. Clif Bar & Company, Case No. 18-cv-2354, N. D. CA.)
