August 2016: After being transferred to a court in New York, this action was consolidated to be heard with three other similar lawsuits. (Rael et al v. Coach, Inc. et al, Case No. 16-cv-3773, S. D. NY.) For more information about the other cases, click on the information below.

February 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Coach for allegedly misleadingly advertising discounts at outlet stores by comparing sale prices to false market prices. According to the complaint, the market prices were artificially inflated and were never the original prices. In addition, the market prices were not the prevailing market price within the three months immediately before the advertisement, as required by California law. (Rael et al v. Coach, Inc. and Does 1-50, Case No. 16-cv-347, S. D. CA.)
