College Board

In December 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against College Board (a company that administers standardized tests to students) for allegedly falsely representing to students that providing their personal information could help them get accepted into colleges and receive financial aid when, according to plaintiffs, such claims are not true and College Board actually sold the students’ personal information to third parties. (S. et al v. College Board, Case No. 19-cv-8068, N. D. Ill.)
