ComplyRight

In July and August 2018, several class-action lawsuits were filed against ComplyRight (a company that businesses use to prepare tax forms for employees) for allegedly misleadingly representing that it uses “state-of-the-art data encryption” to block third parties from intercepting or interrupting information when, according to the complaint, the company does not adequately safeguard data and personal information was compromised in a security breach.
