Core Power Elite Vanilla High Protein Milk Shake

In September 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Fairlife for allegedly misleadingly marketing that the flavoring ingredient in its Core Power Elite Vanilla High Protein Milk Shake is vanilla when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list shows that the milk shake contains unspecified “Natural Flavors” instead of a vanilla ingredient. Plaintiffs also allege that the vanilla flavor comes from artificial ingredients and the amount of real vanilla is de minimis. (Figueroa et al v. Fairlife LLC, Case No. 20-cv-4584, E.D.N.Y.)
