Crystal Light Beverage Products

In October 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Kraft Heinz Company for allegedly falsely marketing that Crystal Light beverage products contain fruit juices and are natural, pure, and healthy when, according to plaintiffs, the products do not contain fruit juices, are primarily water, and contain artificial flavors and a large amount of sugar. Later in the month, the named plaintiff voluntarily dismissed his individual claims with prejudice, the reasons for which have not been disclosed. (Albion et al v. The Kraft Heinz Company, Case No. 18-cv-2101, C. D. CA.)
