April 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Spectrum Brands, Inc. for allegedly falsely marketing Cutter Natural Bug Control, Cutter Natural Insect Repellent, and Cutter Natural Outdoor Fogger as “Natural” when they actually contain artificial and synthetic chemical ingredients. (Rosner et al v. Spectrum Brands, Inc., Case No. 16-cv-1693, E. D. NY.)
