DeckOver Products

In November 2017, three class-action lawsuits were filed against Behr Paint and Home Depot for allegedly deceptively marketing DeckOver as having a more durable and five times thicker coating that fills in cracks and stops splinters when, according to the complaint, the product is not durable or long-lasting and begins to flake, peel, and separate from surfaces within months of application. We bought some and used it on our steps just to test it before moving forward on two porch decks that are 8’x49′ each. I’m glad we only bought one gallon to test since it all bubbled and peeled. It only took a matter of a few weeks for it to peel off the new steps and about 3 months for it to start flaking away on the older steps.
