August 2017: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Vitaquest Intl. and Windmill Health Products for allegedly deceptively marketing DietWorks Garcinia Cambogia as a dietary supplement that aides weight loss and burns and reduces fat when, according to the complaint, scientific evidence proves that the only active ingredient (Hydroxycitric Acid) does not provide the claimed benefits.
