December 2019: This case was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled. for undisclosed reasons.

June 2019: This case was transferred from state court to federal court. (Case No. 19-cv-968, W.D. Wash.)

May 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Eddie Bauer alleging that the store misleadingly advertises specific percentage discounts off of false “list prices” that are inflated and do not represent the regular price of the merchandise. Plaintiffs also claim that the advertised discounts are perpetual. In addition, the complaint claims that the store misleadingly advertises that “everything” is on sale when, according to plaintiffs, certain merchandise – including sleeping bags, tents, and third-party brands – are not included in the sales.
