Display Screens in Honda Vehicles

In October 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against American Honda Motor Co. for allegedly failing to disclose that the display screens used to operate the infotainment features in vehicles – including the CR-V, EX, EX-L, and Touring models – regularly malfunction due to a defect. According to the complaint, the display screens go dark, freeze, or shine brightly making the information system inoperable. (Woo et al v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc., Case No. 19-cv-7042, N. D. CA.)
