March 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Drew’s Entertainment for allegedly misleadingly marketing its music sets, including “Hits of the 80’s: Platinum Collection” and “Hits of the 90’s: Platinum Collection.” Specifically, plaintiffs claim that the company represents that albums contain the hit songs without adequately disclosing that the songs are not the original versions and are instead re-recordings of inferior sound and quality.
