Earth’s Best and Gerber Baby Foods

In February 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Gerber Products and Hain Celestial Group for allegedly representing that Earth’s Best and Gerber baby foods do not contain dangerous substances without disclosing that the products contain unsafe amounts of toxic heavy metals, including arsenic, lead, and cadmium. (Garces et al v. Gerber Products Co. and The Hain Celestial Group, Inc., Case No. 21-cv-719, N.D. Ill.)
