Ezekiel 4:9 Breakfast Cereals
- Compares its breakfast cereals to other cereals that are made using non-sprouted grains and whole grains without identifying the other cereals being used in the comparison;
- Represents that its cereals have decreased levels of antinutrients (which reduce the body’s ability to absorb nutrients) because the amount of antinutrients in other similar cereals is also low; and
- Represents that its cereals provide benefits from a “living food” when, according to plaintiffs, any nutritional benefits are gone after the sprouted grains have been dried, made into flour, and heated.
