Farm & Fleet Credit Card’s “Zero-Interest Promotion”

In June 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Blain’s Farm & Fleet and Synchrony Bank for allegedly deceptively advertising that customers who use their Farm & Fleet credit card on purchases over $299 will not have to pay interest if they pay the balance within 12 months when, in reality, Farm & Fleet and Synchrony Bank do not apply the promotion after the customer makes the purchase. (Serifoski et al v. Blain Supply, Inc. d/b/a Blain’s Farm & Fleet and Synchrony Bank, Case No. 16-cv-656, E. D. WI.)
