Foreign Transaction Fees at Navy Federal Credit Union
In January 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Navy Federal Credit Union for allegedly representing that it charges foreign transaction fees on transactions made outside of the United States when, according to plaintiffs, the credit union also charges such fees on transactions made online in the United States if the merchant is located in another country.
