Foster Poultry Farms Chickens

In July 2015, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Foster Poultry Farms for allegedly misleadingly labeling chickens as being “American Humane Certified.” According to the plaintiffs, the labels make consumers believe the birds live comfortably and are killed quickly and painlessly when, in reality, the certification does not require special treatment and the birds are mutilated, mistreated, and die painfully.
