Fruit Bliss Organic Fruit Products
December 2017: This case was transferred to a court in New York. (Case No. 17-cv-7488, E. D. NY.)
September 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Fruit Bliss (and amended in October) for allegedly deceptively using slack-filled packaging for Fruit Bliss Organic fruit products. The complaint alleges that Fruit Bliss intentionally packages its Fruit Bliss Organic fruit products in opaque containers that contain approximately 50% empty space, and that the plaintiff even purchased a container of Fruit Bliss Organic Deglet Nour Dates that had nearly 80% empty space.
