June 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against General Mills alleging that it falsely advertises Fruit Roll-Ups as “all natural” and containing “no artificial flavors” when, according to plaintiffs, they contain the synthetic ingredient malic acid. (Newman et al v. General Mills, Inc. and General Mills Sales, Inc., Case No. 19-L-0455, Illinois State Court, St. Clair County)
