Full Washes at In & Out Carwash

February 2019: This case was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 19-cv-3081, W. D. MO.)

January 2019: Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint adding allegations that the carwash falsely advertises that a car wash lasts three minutes when, according to the complaint, it lasts two minutes and 25 seconds.

September 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against In & Out Carwash for allegedly misleadingly advertising that it offers full car washes every day when, according to the plaintiffs, parts of the car wash – such as the mitters that wash the tops of vehicles – regularly fail to operate properly resulting in cars not being fully washed. (Craggs et al v. Fast Lane Car Wash & Lube, L.L.C. d/b/a In & Out Carwash, Case No. 1831-cc-s01295, Missouri State Court – Greene County)
