General Motors Diesel Automobiles

In November 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against General Motors for allegedly misleadingly advertising the durability, longevity, and fuel economy of its diesel automobiles when, according to plaintiffs, a pump in the vehicles is not compatible with American diesel fuel and leads to engine failure without warning. (Moonan et al v. General Motors LLC, Case No. 18-cv-7054, N. D. CA.)
