GoDaddy’s Dedicated Servers

In March 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against GoDaddy for allegedly misleadingly marketing the nature, form, and function of its Dedicated Server. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company misleadingly offers a Dedicated Server (one physical computer server dedicated to one customer) when what the company is really providing is a Virtual Private Server (allows multiple customers to share the resources of the same physical server). (Schellenbach et al v. GoDaddy, Inc., Case No. 16-cv-746, D. AZ.)
