October 2021: Plaintiffs moved for preliminary approval of a settlement agreement.

January 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Godiva Chocolatier for allegedly falsely advertising that its chocolates are made in Belgium when, according to plaintiffs, the chocolates are made in Pennsylvania. (Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint in March 2019.) (Hesse et al v. Godiva Chocolatier, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-972, S.D.N.Y.)
