Guinness® Extra Stout

In March 2018, a federal judge dismissed some of the claims in a false advertising class-action lawsuit against Diageo-Guinness USA Inc. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company falsely markets Guinness® Extra Stout as having been brewed in Dublin, Ireland when it is actually brewed in and imported from Canada. The complaint was originally filed in 2016 and amended in 2017. (O’Hara et al v. Diageo-Guinness, USA, Inc. and Diageo North America, Inc., Case No. 15-cv-14139, D. MA.)
