Hair Products from Monat Global

In July 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Monat Global for allegedly promoting haircare products as “safe” and “suitable for all skin and hair types” when, according to plaintiffs, the products may cause serious adverse effects, including scalp irritation and hair loss. Plaintiffs also claim that the company fails to adequately warn consumers of the adverse effects. (Stefforia et al v. Monat Global Corp., Case No. 18-cv-22837, S. D. FL.)
