Herbal Essences Bio Renew Vanilla Honey & Vitamin B Shampoo

In February 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Procter & Gamble for allegedly misleadingly representing that Herbal Essences Bio Renew Vanilla Honey & Vitamin B Shampoo are plant-based and natural by using the phrase “Real Botanicals” and placing the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew seal on the bottles when, according to the complaint, the shampoo is made using synthetic substances that are chemically processed. Plaintiffs also claim that Royal Botanical Gardens Kew has not endorsed the shampoo and Procter & Gamble paid the organization to use the seal. (Dolson et al v.
