HP Color Printers
In April 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against HP Inc. for allegedly falsely advertising certain color printers by failing to disclose that the printers use substantial amounts of color ink when printing in black and white and are designed to stop printing when there is no color ink even if consumers want to print in black and white only. (Rose et al v. HP Inc., Case No. 20-cv-2450, N.D. Cal.)
