A false advertising class-action lawsuit
was filed against Jelly Belly Candy Company in December 2016. The complaint alleges that the company misleadingly labels its jelly beans – including its Superfruit Mix, Sports Beans, and Sports Beans Extreme – as containing evaporated cane juice when, in reality, they contain sugar.
